The 1 on the corner touches 1 square so it must be a mine.
The 2 touches💵 2 squares so they must both be mines.
The 3 touches 3 squares so they must all be mines.
The 4 touches💵 4 squares so they must all be mines.
The 5 touches 5 squares so they must all be mines.
At the start of the game the grid is completely filled with hidden squares.💵 When you click on a square which doesn't have a bomb, numbers in squares next to unrevealed squares will indicate💵 how many bombs are adjacent to it. For example, if an empty square has a 2 in it, there are💵 2 bombs adjacent to it.

Terror is usually described as the feeling of dread and anticipation that precedes the horrifying experience. By💸 contrast, horror is the feeling of revulsion that usually follows a frightening sight, sound, or otherwise experience.
While both genres rely on suspense, in💸 a thriller, it's far more important that the audience can't tell what's about to happen next. In contrast, horror directors💸 often make it painfully apparent that a character is about to meet a gruesome end.
