The post-credit scene for Terrifier 2 shows Art being born again after seemingly dying at the end🌧️ of the movie. The original also initially led audiences to believe that Art was human, yet the ending of the🌧️ first Terrifier did include rumblings of the supernatural nature of the character.
The character was created by writer and🌧️ director Damien Leone for the 2013 anthology film "All Hallows' Eve" and later appeared in the standalone film "Terrifier." While🌧️ the character may have been inspired by various elements of horror and clown archetypes, Art the Clown is not based🌧️ on a real person.
